- Join Easy Riders www.seattleeasyriders.net for supportive, kinder, gentler recreational bike rides. EasyRiders go on trails around Seattle on slow 10 mile or so group rides.
- Ride Leader Training trains ride leaders for all CBC rides as well as SPOKESPEOPLE rides with their Ride Leader Training program. See www.cascade.org/EandR/Ride_Leader_Info.cfm
- Seattle Bicycle Master Plan was approved by Seattle City Council in 2007 http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/bikemaster.htm
- Seattle Bicycle Advisory Board meets monthly at City Hall to help make Seattle a more bike-friendly city http://www.seattle.gov/sbab/
- BikeWorks http://www.bikeworks.org/ is a bike advocacy group that teaches young people bike repair and provides low cost and free bicycles in Columbia City.
- Bicycle Alliance http://www.bicyclealliance.org/ is based in Seattle and promotes bicycling for everyday transportation through education and advocacy throughout Washington State
- Slow Sunday rides are weekly 20-30 miles over 4-8 hours. Riders meet at Cal Anderson Park in Capitol Hill at 1 p.m. and their motto is "Don't be intimidated! The pace is easy. We hit up parks, farmers markets, dumpsters, coffee shops, bike shops, workshops, house parties and more. We're up for just about anything!"
